Sourdough Pasta with Creamy Mushroom Sauce

Ingredients:
- 8 oz sourdough pasta
- 1 cup sliced mushrooms
- 1/2 cup heavy cream
- 2 cloves garlic, minced
- 2 tbsp butter
- Salt and pepper to taste
- Chopped parsley for garnish

Instructions:
1. Cook the sourdough pasta according to package instructions. Drain and set aside.
2. In a skillet, melt butter over medium heat. Add minced garlic and sauté until fragrant.
3. Add sliced mushrooms and cook until they release their moisture and become tender.
4. Pour in the heavy cream and simmer until the sauce thickens.
5. Toss the cooked pasta with the creamy mushroom sauce. Season with salt and pepper.
6. Serve with chopped parsley on top.
